The “WE BOUGHT A CABIN!” Contest
Those of you who “know” me vs. knowing “Lula” will know that I have long been in love with the Red River Gorge - ever since my husband Gordon (Flash!) introduced me. He’s been going there all his life; I have had the pleasure for about 15 years. We finally made a dream come true with this freshly built 3 bedroom, 2 bath, with a loft and pretty fancy kitchen too! It has a hot tub and is in the middle of nowhere, yet close to anything you’d want to do!
The Gorge and surrounding area has world-famous rock climbing (virtually every time we’re on a trail we’ll encounter someone from another country and I get to practice my limited languages knowledge - “Wie Geht’s!” “Bom Dias"!” or “Sumimasen!” and the hiking is “just WOW”. One of my favorite trails is not an easy one (to ME), but worth it when you enter the micro-climate and just sit in AWE for a while surrounded by the sound of rushing streams, and the sight of irridescent moss, stippled sunlight and cliffs and arches all around you - Gray’s Arch.
Now, you say….how’s she going to feed me if she’s 2.5 hours away?!? Never fear - Lula’s is still cooking for your events in the greater Cincinnati area. But NOW…we also get to host occasional retreats for up to 8 people and Lula will be there to COOK for you!!!
